Burma Bridge - Beginning
Picture yourself in the jungles of Burma. You come across a great gorge and a bridge that is your only means of continued travel. The bridge is 25' above the ground with a cable for you to walk on and two ropes at your side for balance. Good luck!
Two Line Bridge - Intermediate
Further along in your journey you discover another bridge. You know that this one is going to be a further test of your nerve and determination to complete your journey. The two-line bridge is a cable for your feet and one rope at waist level to help you with your balance. Again you are two and a half stories high.
Heebie-Jeebie - Advanced
The Heebie -Jeebie isn't named that for nothin'. It is certain to give you the heebie-jeebies. You start to traverse (25' above the deck, of course) on one rope that starts at head level and slowly descends until it is at your knees where you will find a second rope (at knee level, of course) that slowly ascends back to head level on the return. All the while, walking on a 3/8" cable. But in the meantime.....
Hourglass - Advanced
The hourglass is similar to the Heebie-Jeebie but for the fact that there is no foot cable to stand on. A participant has to use the ropes, one for feet, one for hands, in order to traverse. But then they have to make the transfer and switch in the middle. Whew!
Multi-vine - Intermediate
The multi-vine traverse is a series of vines that hang down requiring participants to move from vine to vine to traverse while walking on a 3/8" cable. This element is a bit different than the above-mentioned elements adding some variety to your high course.
Giant's Ladder- Intermediate to Advanced Pairs
Where the rungs start far apart and get farther as you go. A series of horizontal 4x4's suspended in mid air. You will probably need a partner for this one, but you can try it on your own, if you dare.
Zulu Ladder - Advanced Pairs
A more advanced version of the Giant's Ladder it is three dimensional and participants traverse back and forth between the two plains of the ladder.
Trapeze - Advanced
Ever wish you were one of the high flyers in the circus? Here is your chance. After climbing up to a platform at (guess how high) you get the unique opportunity to have the life changing experience of jumping out to grab a trapeze that is dangling above. Only for those extreme risk takers you ask. You might just be surprised!!!
Pamper Plank - Advanced
Climb up to a one-foot square platform with nothing to hold on to. Jump to tag a tetherball suspended in mid air. Not for the faint at heart
Zip Line - Intermediate to Advanced
Climb up the tree to the platform. There you will be transferred to the ZIP system. You are in for the ride of your life, an intense personal challenge, as you hop off of the platform and zip at speeds of up to 40 m.p.h. to your new destination, a sense of empowerment.
Double Zip - Advanced Pairs
The zip line x 2. This is done with participants zipping in pairs. Double the fun!
Duophenia/Quadrophenia - Advanced Pairs or Quads
"The Who?" These elements can be done in pairs or quads. Participants have to help each other onto a small platform reminiscent of the low element classic "All Aboard". Once they get everyone on board they have to leap off the platform in tandem to tag a tether ball hanging in space. A great challenge that brings a sense of team to high elements.
Vertical Playpen- Intermediate
This is the ultimate playpen although it has a vertical orientation. If you can climb the giant cargo net you then have to navigate the tire, which lands you at the first beam and as you throw yourself onto the beam and are ready to surrender, (you guessed it), there appears the second beam. At this point you can only hope that they didn't add the optional catwalk. If they did you now are faced with the task of getting up and balancing on the three-inch catwalk, 40 feet above the ground with no hands.
Catwalk- Advanced
This can be added as a single element or as an addition to the Vertical playpen. This is a single three-inch beam that one has to walk for a span of 12-16 feet with no hands. Generally built 30-40 feet up it is one of our toughest psychological challenges.
The Helix - Advanced Group
This element brings a new dimension to the team challenge for high ropes. Participants walk across beams suspended from a cable. The only thing holding them the beams steady- the other teammates down below. This element requires a team effort.
Centipede - Advanced
The only way to escape the bubbling earth below is to climb up the back of the giant Centipede. These dangling 4x4's have handholds to help you climb. But the centipede gives no assistance. He swivels and sways as you try to ascend his back.
Ship Mast- Intermediate
The cargo net can be placed horizontally as a traversing element or vertically as a climbing element. Vertically placed it gives the sense of climbing up to the ships mast of a great sailing vessel. It comes in standard as well as custom sizes.
Note*- The Vertical Playpen, Centipede and Ship Mast can be combined together to make a virtual hanging playground.
"The Ladder"- Advanced Group
This one is one of our newest additions. A good group effort as the group has to hold a ladder straight up and steady for the climber who, after climbing to the top and standing on top has to ring a bell that is barely within arms reach.
Rappel Platform - Advanced
You've seen the military and swat teams do it. Now it is your turn, to rappel out of a platform from forty feet up, attached only to your safety line. You are in complete control of your descent, so hang on! If you dare try it Austrailian style (face down).
Giant's Swing - Intermediate to Advanced
They don't make swings like this at the playground . The Giant's swing is exactly that, a swing with an anchor point about thirty feet long. One of the most exhilarating elements that we have to offer. The swing is not a difficult physical challenge but more so a mental one. It takes a rather large commitment to take the Swing.
Flying Squirrel- Intermediate Group
The flying squirrel is unique in that the group provides the belay for the participant and actually lifts them from the ground thus letting them fly through the air with the greatest of ease. The Giants Swing and the Flying Squirrel can be combined into one element.
High Nitro- Advanced
Reminiscent of the low element classic Nitro Swing (see description in low element section) this is the same idea only many feet off the deck. This element can be arranged as a single participant or full team event.
High Woozy- Advanced
Reminiscent of the low element classic Wild Woozy this is a great partner challenge that requires the partners to create a human bridge that gets ever further apart.
Rope Ladder - Intermediate
The rope ladder is a moderate challenge that can be utilized as a stand-alone element or as the entry point to another high element.
Fire Cracker Ladder - Advanced
An intense physical challenge, this element can be self contained or added as the entry point to another element. The ladder consists of a single rope with rungs that protrude both sides of the rope, requiring participants to, in effect do a number of pull-ups in a row to succeed.
Horizontal Ladder - Intermediate
This element is a ladder that is placed horizontally. It generally requires a sense of balance and therefore is an appealing element to those that do not possess a great deal of physical strength but want to test their mettle on a high element.
Earthquake Bridge - Advanced
A series of swing suspended in mid air. Participants swing from one Swing to another.
Tire Two Line (Charlie Chaplin) - Intermediate
This element is similar to the horizontal ladder but without the rungs in place. Participants traverse utilizing just two cables, one for each foot. Don't grab that belay line, which is considered cheating.
Space Walk - Advanced
A series of cable loops hanging that participants traverse from one to the other.
